The City of New Philadelphia maintains four cemeteries: East Avenue Cemetery and Evergreen Burial Park on Delaware Drive SE, Fair Avenue Cemetery on Fair Avenue NE, and our newest Schoenbrunn Meadows Cemetery on Delaware Drive SE. More information to follow on available lots sales.
Kelly Herron serves as Cemetery Superintendent, after 20 years as Assistant Parks & Recreation Director.
It is our mission to provide residents of New Philadelphia with a place of burial that ensures a peaceful and well-maintained setting. We continually strive to expand the capacity of our cemeteries, both with respect to burial sites and our cremation niches. We endeavor to provide information systems that enable easy access to burial locations and maintain in the future, a high standard of care for all our cemeteries.
