The City of New Philadelphia was founded by John Knisely in 1804. It wasn’t until 1833 that the city was incorporated and its first elections held. Since that time, there has been a long line of Mayors serving the City of New Philadelphia. Following is a list dating back to 1833. While several have served multiple terms, Daniel Korns stands out as the single mayor to serve four separate times for a total of fourteen years.
